Hi there. My name is Josh Brake. My day job is teaching engineering at Harvey Mudd College, but on the weekends I love to make pizza. As a Connecticut native who now lives on the West Coast I’m pretty far from Wooster Street and Pepe’s Pizzeria and Sally’s Apizza.

Fortunately, with a little bit of practice and my trusty Ooni oven I have learned how to get a good New Haven-style pizza in your own backyard.
